Each motorcycle is strapped down on the custom motorcycle pallet for safe transportation inside an enclosed trailer. Allied Van Lines leads the industry in motorcycle shipping. Allied moves about 1000 motorcycles per month. That's more than any other company.

This photo is from our Los Angeles warehouse. All the motorcycles are lined up to load into the air-ride trailer on the right. Each trailer holds 30 motorcycles when full. About 5 truckloads per week go through this facility. They do all the pickups and deliveries
in the Southern California area.

Here's a shot of an R6. We move plenty of sportbikes. We see lots of R6's, R1's, CBR600's, 929's, Ninja's, Ducati's, and of course the GSXR's.
We mostly use wood skids. We use aluminum skids if available. Each
bike is strapped down securely to the skid. No crating is necessary. This saves you money. They are forklifted on and off the truck. They are not removed from the skid until you take delivery. We take the skid back with us for shipping other motorcycles.
Here's a shot of one of our super-clean warehouses. This one's in Chicago. Over 500 motorcycles go through this warehouse each week. That's over 16 truckloads every week! It's the busiest warehouse in the nation for motorcycle shipping.

They come in during the week and go out on Saturdays and Mondays.
